Nine times out of ten, when a client calls to tell us that they will be listing their house and would like set a listing appointment, they tell us that they have really been working hard on projects in the house. We tell them to please stop! So many times the client is putting their time, effort and money into the wrong projects.
After our initial meeting with the client we always suggest the next meeting with a stager. (By the way, Brooke and I pay for the stager if we are using the client’s furniture and $200 toward the staging if we are bringing in furniture.) We start at the outside of the home and work through the entire house. With the help of the stager, you will spend your money and time on those projects that will increase the chance of a quick sale at the highest price.
